Kicks!

I am pretty sure that I've been feeling kicks! Today, when I was trying to find their heartbeats, I heard AND felt a thump on the doppler..I love this part of pregnancy, they're not too big where their feet are hitting me in the ribs and bladder!

It's feeling more real! Just a few more weeks til my next u/s. Hopefully, they'll give up the goods!

I asked Kalynn what she wanted to name the babies and she said Poopie Head and Tiger LOL Goofy girl.

Some more exciting news, we're going to Galveston with my mom, brothers and sister! It'll be nice although I'm a bit anxious about Kalynn and the ocean..We're going to get her a life jacket and of course she'll be constantly supervised. She won't be in the water without one of us. I'm thinking of just letting her go to knee deep.

Anyway, I better skiddaddle...

Today's appt

Today was my prenatal appt! It went pretty well! I was hoping to get an u/s but we didn't :( Our next appt with an u/s is June 22..I'll be 18 weeks and hopefully, we can tell if they're boys or girls or boy and a girl...

I'm measuring like I'm 20 weeks! We got to hear both babies' heartbeats! I will probably have a c section because of what happened with my prior delivery with Kalynn and because I'm already high risk as it is. So, we'll probably plan my c/s soon.

Also, I'll be going to the big hospital after 20 weeks..so I'll be at this office probably one or two more appts.

So, that's the update!

Where is my Stomach of Steel??

As mom (or parents really), we have stomachs of steel. We can be peed on, pooped on, spit up on, wipe hineys without giving it a second thought.

Well, since I've been pg, it's GONE! My normal "mommy" duties make me want to gag..I hate it..I hope it comes back soon becaus I'll need it back!!!

While I'm complaining...I can't believe how much pain I'm in! It hurts to walk, and if I walk for a long period of time, my back end starts to hurt on top of already hurting while walking..Yesterday, I went to the grocery store to pick up some stuff (Bill offered to go, but I wanted to get out of the house). When I got home, I couldn't even MOVE my leg. I have no idea what that's about, but I need to ask the Dr.

Another question I want to ask at my appt is no travelling. He said no travelling after 28 weeks which is in August..what exactly does that mean? Like, can I travel for an hour? Or does he mean I can't go on vacation in Hawaii?

I guess we'll find out..My next appt is 5/24!

2nd trimester! Here I come!!

Tomorrow I will be in the 2nd trimester!! Woohoo! I'll be 13 weeks. Hopefully, the rest of the pregancy will go by.

So, I was playing with my doppler..I realized this whole time I've been picking up my OWN heartbeat!! LOL!! I found both babies' heartbeats and WOW! They are So fast! They are really close to each other so now I understand why I have to have u/s's every month. That's ok, I'm not complaining!

We're also looking at baby stuff. I sold all of Kalynn's stuff except the crib and the changing table..so, we pretty much need everything..DOH!

I was thinking about how we're going to carry babies, etc..and I want to try something new.. I want to sling them, that way, I can carry one, Bill can carry the other and Kalynn can hold our hand or in the stroller..

Feeling pretty good!

I'm 12w4d today! I'm been feeling pretty good queasy wise..I think it's finally gone..I'm still tired. I'm so glad that Bill is very understanding if I need to go to bed early. NOt much else is going on, wanted to drop off a few things:
