    Please!! Get your Child vaccinated!!!

    Christmas is over!

I think this is one of the best Christmases in a long time.

    Our house:
We all woke up around 6:15-6:30 (thanks to the boys). Kalynn loved her Barbie Dream house! It's pretty nifty. The door bell rings, the toilet flushes, the stove sizzles and there's music that plays. I wish I had that when I was younger! The boys enjoyed their gifts. I got them stackers and Elmo guitars. PUt the boys down for a nap and hung out here.

    Mom's House:
Went to mom's house where we had breakfast. Good as always! I got the Beco I had been wanting for MONTHS. I finally got the hang of using it. I can't wait to use it! Kalynn got a lot of cool stuff. She got a Leapster and played that all day.

    Aunt Barbara's house:
I was a little nervous since all the kids had been up super early. But I think for the most part, Kalynn did great. The boys were cranky but that was because they were tired.

Overall, we had a wonderful Christmas.

Kalynn LOVES her twin dolls. We set everything up for her last night. She's so motherly LOL This morning, she told me that her babies at all of their food.

I am wanting to go to Target and Kohl's..I want to try out my Beco and also shop for the boys. I love shopping.

I have TONS of pics, too many to post here.. So, I'll just past the album here:

It's been awhile since I last posted!!

Last Sunday, I had to take Ronin to the ER. He was running a fever and had trouble breathing. He scared the CRAP out of me. Usually, fevers don't really concern me. The fact that he was struggling to breathe and wasn't really moving around, DID concern me. So I went ahead and called the o/c Dr. She said to take him to the ER. Turns out he had RSV and an ear infection. Got rx for an antibiotic for the EI and steroids for his lungs. Unfortunately, by the time we got out, all the pharmacies close to us were closed. So, Bill had to fill them during his lunch break.

Anyway, he's SO much better. I'm really glad that I am nursing him. I think that if I hadn't nursed him, he would've ended up in the hospital. And I also think that's why he made a quick recovery. RSV can be very dangerous.

Kalynn's last day of school was Wed. She had been on her meds for a few days. It has made a HUGE difference. She got THREE good days in a row. She has NEVER had 3 good days in a row. She hasn't had any side effects, like decrease appetite, sleeplessnes, etc. She's not a zombie, she's not "doped up". She's just Kalynn.

Anyway, I guess that's it. I probably won't be back til after Christmas!

    Merry Christmas everyone!!!

I don't have much time, but it's official, Kalynn has been diagnosed with ADHD. I saw this poem and loved this:

He's bouncin' off walls, a super ball gone insane,
He runs through your world like a off-rail freight train,
    Interruptions are constant, tantrums galore,
When it's time to do homework, he's gone, out the door.

The drama is constant, oh his foot fell asleep,
He moans and he wails, the theatrics run deep,
School is a nightmare, the teachers are lost,
If they only could see, he is worth the cost.

He is brighter than most, as most kids are,
And with patience and love, I know he'll go far,
But what I must take from well meaning friends
    Don't let him do that.
Oh these rules that he bends.

    You're not a good parent.
    Your child's really rude.
    His temper's Outrageous.
He has hands in his food.
He hears this and wonders, just what's wrong with me?

I tell him, You're special, you have A.D.H.D.
Now A.D.H.D. is a gift from above,
It teaches us grown-ups how to strengthen our love.It helps to teach your teachers, no two kids are the same.
You have awesome energy that could bring you great fame.

You don't need much sleep, you never wear down.
You're silly and funny, when you act like a clown
.You've felt lots of pain from what people have said,
But you pray for those people when you go to bed.

So you try every day to make a fresh start,
For God gifted you with an extra big heart.
As I look at my child, he sees through my soul,
My heart feels like busting, as I realize my goal.

I know this boy like no one else could,
He's a blessing to me, he's strong and he's good.
So I'll love him and guide him through the worst of the worst
,And he'll make a great man (if I don't kill him first).

I'm kidding of course 'cause I know what's to be,
When I look in his eyes, I see a reflection of me.

Before we left for the parade.

Waiting to get on the float

The Girl Scout float.. Christmas tree is made out of GS cookie boxes

    Kalynn on the float

    Ronin

    Ryker

    That's it!
    Morning!

Haven't blogged in a few days..my life is entirely too boring to blog about anyway..

Let's see..Sunday, we went to go help decorate the float, but the float itself wasn't ready yet. So, the girls played a few games and then we went home. Monday, was the parade (I have pics, will get those posted here in a few). Mom came out, which I was so grateful for. Kalynn was SOOOO happy. I didn't mention to her that mom may come out because I wasn't positive yet. So, imagine the surprise when she saw her Mimi! The parade was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. It was really neat though. Kalynn did well, I was afraid that she might freak out about being on the float without me near her. But she did fine!

Ronin and Ryker have become quite the little beggars. I go to my bf'ing support meeting every Tuesday. We have snacks there. Ronin will walk up to one of the ladies and stand there waiting for food. Aimee is too sweet, she always obliges. This past time, she had both boys with her! One of the little girls was eating a cheese stick. Ronin goes over there and takes a bite..It's funny and embarassing, but fortunately, the other moms are very understanding.

Today, Kalynn has her GS meeting. I volunteered to stay and bring drinks. Saturday, Kalynn has her Cinderella puppet show. I'm going with her, I don't feel comfortable with her going to Fair Park without me..

Anyway, will be back with pics..
