Is it MOnday yet?

I'm 11 weeks!

Saturday was pretty good! Kalynn had her gumnastics/dance class. She had a rough start. She didn't want me to leave, but the instructors were able to get her distracted. After that, she had a good time!

Went to see our friends Naomi and Chad. Naomi is one of my best friends and she's pregnant too! She's 3 weeks ahead of me. It's really neat to go through this exciting time in our lives together..

Today, not much is going on. Just lazed around, went to the grocery store and did laundry. This week should be a non eventful week.

2 more weeks til the 2nd trimester!

I started an Expectnet Game..Go to www.expectnet.com and type in Celestetwins on the left handside where it says "invited guests".
It's a game where you can guess what I'm having, how big they'll be, and when they'll be born. FYI, I will probably go anywhere 3-6 weeks early..

Appts today

First appt this AM was a mammogram. Ended up with a sonogram instead (they don't do mammograms on pregnant women), which is fine with me. Everything looks fine!

Then, the next appt was my OB appt. I'm up 4 lbs, which is surprising. Seems like I'm eating non stop! I'm exactly where I need to be (I need to gain 1 lb per week). And we got to have a sonogram! Everything looks really good, and growing. It was so neat to see how much they've changed and watch them wriggling around in there!

One more day til my appt and I can't wait! I'm actually looking forward to it!

Kalynn's been really interested about the babies in mommy's tummy..She wants to know about them, and asks me "They're growing and growing?"

We've gotten a few things for CHEAP off of Ebay. I'm excited..We got a stroller, 2 carseats, and a bouncy chair.

Well, I better go. I'll give a better update tomorrow after my appt...



Before I go, our word for the day: SUPPORTIVE...Even when someone thinks their choice is dumb and stupid...

Whoosh whoosh

We ordered a fetal doppler a few days ago and just got it today!! We tried it out and we heard both heartbeats!! It was the most wonderful sound!!

I had been worried because I've been having some issues..but I am feeling so much better after hearing the whoosh whoosh sound of their h/b's...

I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow!! My next OB appt is this coming up Wed..Hoping to get an u/s to check on them...If not, that's ok, at least I have the doppler..

Taking it easy

I think I overdid it a few days ago...I can't do the things that I used to, which includes running..Then, Bill hurt his AC joint, so I had to take care of Bill and Kalynn..Bill couldn't do a lot of things with his right arm.

Kalynn is just full of boundless energy and it's REALLY hard for me to keep up with her.. She's just crazy..In fact today, she was literally bouncing off the walls..She would run into one wall and then run into the other wall on the other side of the room. She did this for a few minutes..Then after that she ran in circles, just screaming. Yes, she's like this ALL the time..Well, except when she's asleep..

So, by the end of the day I am exhausted..

Bill's been pretty good. Housework has gone to the back burner, I just can't keep up..Fortunately, Bill is very understanding and doesn't complain.

Another new blog...

I decided to start a new blog to document my pregnancy! It'll be about my pregnancy and Kalynn as well..

Where do I begin..December 2005, I found out that I was pg..Unfortunately, I lost it in Feb 2006. We were devestated..

In March, we were surprised when I got a positive pregnancy test!! I was a little leary because I was afraid of me having another m/c, or something was weird..

So, I get a Dr's appt and have an u/s..To our shock, we saw TWO! We were having twins!! I thought I was going to pass out..We got to see and hear their heartbeats. They also have their own sacs which is good. I was also told that I will probably give birth 3-6 weeks early..

So, I have already told family and friends...I am just in shock...
